I’m supposed to be punishing her. Instead, I want to claim her.

She should have been like any other human who broke the laws of magic use. Pitiful, and easily broken by my brute strength. Not her. With Mila, everything is different. From the moment we meet, I can feel a connection between us. A connection that shouldn’t exist. At first I thought it was her magic that calls to me, but the longer she spends under my watch, the more I wonder if it’s her. Regardless of why, I will make her mine. One way, or another…

All I wanted to do, was defend myself. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone …

But I did. Somehow I used magic, an impossible feat which landed me at the mercy of the Twisted Court, a parody of justice ruled over by a cruel dragon. Thrust into a new world, I’m forcibly assigned to the ‘tender’ care of a dark lord with horns and a body that I quite literally drool over in my sleep. As much as I want to hate him, I can’t stop imagining what it would be like to grab his horns and use them as leverage while I grind my body against his … or break it off to stab him with. I’ll have to resist both options however, because the magic I unleashed has revealed that his past and I are more linked than either of us knew.
